| What's wrong with Mia!!! Hello, Yesterday I came home and Mia was having a seizure! This was a huge shock!!! She hasn't been sick or have any health issues except a grade 1 LP that were watching. I took her right to the vet..of course he keep her overnite to watch over her and do testing. She has had a CBC, urinalaysis, xray and it's all came back fine. He also did liver testing today, but we won't have the results until late next week. She really doesn't show any signs of a liver shunt except the seizure. Today she is eating a drinking, but still is have tremors it's reminds me of the hiccups. He has given her a steroid that he say sometimes helps with neurological problems and also amoxicillian. I have to call everyday with an update unless something drastic happens and he wants to see her in the office on Monday. If this doesn't clear up he suggested doing a spinal tap. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or opinions. Thanks, |

| So sorry to hear that Mia had a seizure today! I know how scary that is to watch... I would wait on further testing until you get the results of the bile acid test or blood ammonia test, whichever your vet did.

| Why have we had so many sick babies recently??? I hate it. I sure hope Mia is OK and that the vet figures out what it is quickly and can treat her. Prayers are with you. Let us know. Get well Mia!
