| calling all vomitting yorkies.... I have noticed that several yorkies have had problems with vomitting lately. Admittedly, I may just be noticing the posts because my baby has had problems. In fact, he had surgery this past Saturday because they vet believed that he had an obstruction of some sort. Although no obstruction was found, he is recovering well and slowly returning back to his old self. But my question is - if your yorkie is having problems with vomitting, what food is he/she eating? My Bogart eats Canidae. |

| Adonis eats Royal Canin Yorkie blend. He's done this before on another food, is why I changed to Royal Canin last fall. |

| Either one or both of my yorkies are vomiting. I keep finding piles of vomit but I don't know which one has been doing it or if both are doing it. But, they are being treated for tapeworms, which I think is really upsetting their tummies. |

| It does seem that lately there has been alot of babys vomiting, karleigh even vomited this morning, and this is not like her, she does have liver problems so i home cook for her, i bought some new treats at pet smart yesterday & gave her one, i guess that was a bad idea she had no food in hers though, so i will have to keep close watch to make sure nothing else is going on.

| My Tobi eats the puppy formula from INNOVA. I don't give him any treats..but when he threw up on Monday I think it was a result of him munching on some sponge the night before or it could be b/c he had an empty tummy. Either way he seems to be ok now *phew*..although his poopy looks a bit funny at times.

| Gracie vomited this morning. She had not done this since I switched her to Merrick and Wellness foods. She is healthy as a horse and playing like ever, so I am not worried. Maybe they are like us and their tummies just get upset on occasion?

| If they are throwing up yellow bile it usually means they have an empty stomach. Diesel will do this sometimes. He forgets to eat during the day. Sounds dumb I know... LOL He follows me ALL over the house.IF he can't see and smell me he looses his mind! So he will eat in the am while I am surfing and drinking coffee. He won't eat anymore until nighttime rolls around and I have crashed on the sofa to relax. I also have to bring his food into the livingroom with me so he can see me while he eats!

| Well, it seems Hootie has been vomiting ALL DAY!!!!!! She vomited yellow bile this morning on my bed but then she ate breakfast and I thought she was fine. I came home at lunch and found a pile of vomit in her crate. Then I found a pile of vomit next to her food bowl. I cleaned everything up. She didn't eat at lunch. I came home after work there was another pile of vomit in her crate. Now she won't eat dinner. Each pile of vomit is clear. I wonder what is going on?!!!!!!! She is being treated for tapeworms. But so is Hobbs and Hobbs is fine. Maybe Hootie is just more sensitive or something. |

| not good as can get dehydrated - pancreatitis can be cause of vomitting so keep an eye out and if continues go to vet and have cpli test done along with blood work. Another reason for vomitting could be a blockage from a piece of toy - not good if continuous vomitting. Once in a while ok but not continuous vomitting that is a sign of something wrong. Keep us posted |
