| My Dunks Is Neutered We found a growth in my Dunks' testes, so we brought him in and the doctor suggested to neuter him. So he was neutered on Tuesday 06.12.07 and he ate his stitches yesterday 06.14.07 . So we had to run him to the hospital again to get re-stitched . Good news though, the growth was sent to the lab and the Vet told us that it wasn't cancerous. whew. So, I was very nervous leaving him at home today coz I don't want him chewing his stiches again! I am crossing my fingers that when I come home today that his stitches are still intact. (CROSSING FINGERS) I attached a picture of him looking so innocent with his cone...

| the cone was given to us by the vet. He was wearing it after I picked him up from the Vet and he has to keep it on for 2 weeks. And with the eating the stitches off, Dunks sure as hell needs that cone on! man... I was so mad at him for biting his stitches off. ALL of it was off when I got home yesterday. I was so mad, but I couldn't stay mad at him for long. ANd the cones, you can get them at your local pet stores as well if your vet doesn't have any. I'd put the cone just to be on the safe side. Look at my Dunks, he had the cone and he still managed to eat the stitches off!

| My Dunks is neutered It's been a week since his castration (ouch!) and he is doing well. He's back to his normal self.. hyper and playful as usual. He's still taking his antibiotics and pain meds and no he didnt chew off his stitches again (hoping its still intact when I get home today - knock on wood). I can't wait for his stitches to be take off so he can play with these new puppies that my bf's cousin got which is a pit, bull mastiv (sp?), rot mix and my friends corgi. I can't wait for them to play and I cant wait to take him to the dog park! ONE MORE WEEK!!!!
