| drooling and bloated??? Hey guys..im at my moms house sleeping over and i have the 3 babies with me.. her house doesnt have an ac but dosent need it becasue she is on the 15 floor with lots of windows. its cool in here and Snuggles is panting hard. she is also drooling . she used to drool when in the car becasue she would get car sick but she is used to the car now . She has never done this drooling thing inside before. She also is laying some really smelly gases. i thought she had pooped inside thats how bad they are. and her stomach is extremely bloated. She had 1/4 cup of wellness/merricks kibble mixed with 1/4 merricks Granma pot pie wet and i a table spoon of plain white rice. this is her normal stuff just varies in flavors. She really dosent want to drink water. seh had this around 8pm. Im a lil concern about the bloated thing becaseu at first i though she was just full from food but even after its been a few hours she looks like she just ate . the bloatness has been for about a almost 2 weeks. any advice would be great or ideas. She is however moving around and following me where ever i go which is routine when we are here.

| I don't mean to scare you, but I did a search on bloating and drooling and if she has bloat, it is an extremely serious condition and she should be seen by a vet asap. The symptoms seem the same, but you said she's had this bloating for 2 weeks? If so, I don't think that's what she has, but I could be wrong. I still think she should be seen. She must be very uncomfortable and probably in pain since she's passing very smelly gas. Here's a link to Bloat in dogs. http://www.petville.com/pet_communit...c_dilatat.html Sending get well wishes and keep us updated on how she's doing!

| Thank you Connie for responding with that article. That is a scary thing to happen to someone. Well I haven't slept much. Snuggles is actually doing good. She took a major poop( sorry if thats seems like too much info ), and is back to her normal self. Im keeping an eye on her though, since these guys can go from good to bad within minutes. Thank you again for your concern. Its great to know that YT is made up of such great people.

| I'm so glad to hear she's doing better! Last night as I was trying to go to sleep, I thought about her and wondered if she could have a blockage. Then, I also thought, with her sleeping at a different place, maybe that was making her pant, but wouldn't have anything to do with the bloating or drooling. Anyway, I'm so glad to hear she's being herself! Bless her heart...and yours too!!!

Thank goodness she is still better today. She ate her breakfast and got a bath. So she is feeling extra cute. I will keep you all update thru the day. Thank you so much for asking.

| I'm so glad to hear she's doing so well. She must have had some sort of digestive problem. So glad that's behind her and that it wasn't something more serious!!!
