I have a question......Brandi ate a BIG UGLY DISGUSTING WATERBUG.....I found some remnants around this morning.....she's vomited several times.......and has had diahrrea several times as well......she's resting on her chair alot......but otherwise acting normal.......could a bug have made her sick? I don't use pesticides in the house....... |

| I suspect a vet visit is in her near future......I think I'm going to consider pet insurance......he keeps telling me he doesn't need to see me until October and I keep ending up back there for one neurotic thing or another LOL |

| Winston likes to catch crickets, I try to get it before he eats it, but...not always. Can't say it's ever made him sick though...just makes me sick to think about it...ick. But I hope she simply has a full belly, feel better Brandi, and stop eating bugs...

No Longer a Member | I tend to think it is not a bug that made her sick. Chloe eats spiders, flies, pill bugs, and has even eaten snails (yuk!) Bugs are primarily protein and calcium (I know, gross anyway) and are supposed to be very nutritious (even for humans! I know, I could puke at the thought!) I can't imagine that there is anything about a waterbug that would make her sick. Now, =I= might get sick just looking at one... |

| I just wanted to let you know Brandi seems to be ok this morning (so far)....I picked up her wet food yesterday so there's only dry food around (which she doesn't love but she must be hungry she keeps eating it) I gave her a little yogurt....she hasn't touched that yet...but she's frisky and playful and running around and demanding my attention....so I just hope she's fine now..... |
