| What a day - Sake swallowed a sleeping pill What a day - Sake walked up to me all amped out with the shell of one of the sleeping pills I take (Sonata-4 hr pill) I called the Poison Control center - they had me pour Hydrogen Peroxide down her throat to get her to vomit - got a nasty bite on my finger in the process - then took her to the vet. He gave me a paste that has clay in it to absorb the remainder of the pill she didn't throw up or poop out...then I had to keep her awake until tonite - gave her a bath to get all the yuck off her and now I am beat - thank God she is okay....amazing how much you fall in love with the little things....she is fine now...but, I am exhausted...:hearts6:

| So glad she is okay! Baby got ahold of about 1/2 of a Zoloft pill when she was a baby. She was not as active for a little while, but she was okay.

| It's amasing the stuff they can get into. My Siamese cat (when she was about 2)got ahold of some Valium that was stored in a drawer and we had to take her to the ER. The vet thought she had brain damage or some neurological problem. It was 2 days before we found out what was causing her to fall down when she tried to walk. She even fell into the toilet trying to get to her litter box. When we finally found the bottle open in the drawer we called the vet-he just said come get her, take her home, watch her, she needs to sleep it off. A few days later she was her old devilish self and lived to be 17 1/2.

| I'm so glad this has a happy ending to it. These little guys get into everything. Baby proofing your home is easy compared with trying to Yorkie proof it!!!!!

| I'm so glad that your Sake is okay and that this story has a happy ending! It had to be very trying for you in the process though.
