hi every one, i have been comming to this site now for months, all the information is great,but i never thought i would ever get a phone call like i did today,my baby is 2 her name is karleigh,well any way she was sick yestersday so i took her in right away,the vet just called and said she has liver failure,and is a diabetic im on my way there to get the insulin and other meds, so please everyone please pray for us,thank you so much...karleigh & Dee Dee,one more thing this site is wonderful and it has been helping me more then you know.

Dee Dee, I'm so very sorry. Words can't help the hurt right now. She is so very young. Mine will be two on 04/09, so I can sort of place myself in your position. Prayers going out to you though.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I don't know anything about liver failure, but it sounds very serious. I wish you luck and many happy years with your little one.

thank you all for the prayers,she has all meds in her now and vetsaid its a wait and see kind of thing,i made her chicken and rice like he recommended,she ate it all, i was sooo happy to see her eat.she is on 5 diff meds but thats ok as long as i can have her with me.given the insulin shot is a bit scary, i feel like im hurting her but i know im not.please keep praying for us as i know it will be a long journey, i thank each and everyone of you and so does my angel karleigh, DeeDee

I am so sorry to hear about your little girl. I hope she gets better with the meds and controlling her diet. I know this has got to be hard on you but hang in there and keep praying for the best.

I'm so sorry to hear about Karleigh's health issues. Is the liver failure a result of the diabetes and now that you know what to do, will her liver health return? I'm in SE Michigan. Please let me know if I can help you. Prayers and big hugs going out to you and your little girl!!

Ooooh noooooo, poor little tyke! I hope she makes a full recovery. What awful news to have to hear! I hope this isn't one of those cases of tainted dog food

thank you all for prayers, no it was not the dog food, thank god, she still wont eat,i have tryed everything and getting the pills down is not easy,vet called me twice today to check in,suggested i try chicken soup,anyone ever use this food,thank you for any in put,we go back on tuesday to learn how to give her the insulin,she is 4lbs and the sweeteset little thing , i truly dont know how im going to deal with this as time goes by, but comming here and talking to you all is helping me alot as you all know just how i feel.i just cant stand to see her sufer and its killing me, things happen so fast please forgive me as this is a bit long i just need to talk about it with people who undersatand.thank you all for being herefor us we love this site.Dee Dee
