This is the day I been dreading! I knew I'd be a wreck, so I took today to get shopping done, so I wouldn't be sitting at home, scared all day, sitting on top of the phone, and watching the clock. It did work, it kept my mind on things I needed to pick up, and finally ordered my new sofa from Lazy Boy.

When leaving the place, with my baby there this morning, I started crying. I kinda knew that would happen so didn't wear mascara this morning, lol. I have bipolar disorder, which gives me mood swings when things affect me like this. Crying....just happens when upset or scared.

Right after I got everything done, Paula calls says he got through just fine, and was waking up now. They couldn't clean his teeth cause the other Vet's office they run borrowed teeth cleaning stuff, and didn't return it.

She said I could pick him up about 3:30-4, so of course you know I'll be there by 3:30 at the very latest!! Will leave here by 3pm!

Thanks to all who prayed for him. They were answered. His blood also came back good. She'd promised me if it didn't, they wouldn't do the neuter. Just microchip.

So now, both my babies fixed, and microchipped.

While out, I picked up some canned food (and petsmart said they took the affected stuff off the shelf), since he also had a tooth that needed taken out too.

I'll just be sooooo glad to get him home with me!! And thank God...this is now over.

Took a lotta shopping to keep my mind off this all day.

Glad to hear that it all went well. Just be prepared that he will be groggy for a while when you get him home. But he should be back to himself by tomorrow.

I have to say that's a great way to kill time and keep

Oh last night he got a lot of Mama's loving! I knew he'd be very groggy, since Venus just went through that in November. Paula also told me to keep him "quiet" as he will need rest.

That meant to keep him and Venus separate, as she plays rough, and goes for the kahoona's when she plays. That was the hard part, cause Venus is a whiney little thing. I put Adoins in her crate part of yesterday evening, then her in it to sleep last night.

I hope he doesnt' get used to the soft food, cause this is the one and only can of it. But know he needs something soft with that pulled tooth for a day or so.

Know also he's not supposed to jump for a week. Now thats going to be the hard part, as I keep Venus's puppy food on the floor, and his on a bench so she won't eat it. She won't be a full year till June, so she still eats the puppy food. I've taught him not to eat her food, although he liked it.

He's still a little slow in moving this morning, and not quite up to himself yet, but we only been up about 30 minutes. Hoping today gets better for him. If not, I have Paula's home phone # and I will call her.
