| HELP! Tooth Problems I went today to get my new babies some essentials and goodies. I returned home and attempted to brush my new yorkies teeth. I think I am still in shock, if I am not mistaken my 2 new dogs are missing half their teeth, with very little gum left around what they have and it looks to me like I can see one of their jaw bones. I thought they just had bad breath and now I am not sure what to think, is this normal? I am actually very scared for them, what do I do? |

| What did the vet say at their wellness visit and how old are they? New Puppies teeth are very tiny and perhaps you are mistaken. If something that severe was happening the vet should have said something. Perhaps you should call the vet about your concerns and see what he recommends. Good luck. |

| How old are they? It sounds to me like they are just starting to lose their baby teeth. I know that when our puppy starting losing her teeth, it seemed like they all came out at once! When puppies start to lose their teeth they definitely have some severe bad breath, so that could be what you are experiencing. I agree with Chillipepper though, if something was seriously wrong I would imagine that your vet would have said something. If you are still worried, a call to the vet never hurts just to make sure.
