| Ohhh hunny, I would call the vet asap just to be safe. But he may have just eaten something that maybe scraped his belly a little. when I first go Louie I gave him a little milk bone and he had some blood in his poop. I took him to the vet and they said that the milk bone was just a little too rough for his system at the time. He was just fine afterwards and I didnt give them to him until he got a little older, but it doesnt hurt to call the vet anyways. Good luck hun, and keep us posted.

| Did he eat anything he wasn't supposed to? If not maybe you can have a fecal test done tomorrow at the vet's? How old is he?

| My puppy had a few drops of blood in his poop too...as he was walking away, there were dribbles following him off the puppy pad. You should check with the vet to make sure but my dog was just a little constipated. He was fine soon after |

| This has happened to Coco a few times. Usually if she eats something bad, or jagged, she will have bloody poop, and the vet says it's just gastritus. So after some antibiotics and some bland food she's usually ok.

| It really could be nothing. But whenever you see blood and soft stools it is important to get it checked as soon as possible. These little guys will go down hill so quickly. Is he acting sick or acting fine. That is a good indicator as well. I have puppies in the past fight Parvo so if I see blood in the poo I automatically get nervous but then have taken Teddy to the vet with blood in his poo and it was nothing really. If I remember correctly it was that he was to sensitive for the powder I put on his food. As soon as we stopped it the bloody poo stopped too. Let us know how he is doing. Kim and Teddy
