Milli doesn't feel good-advice? Our new little Milli is sick for the first time today I took her on her first " in the bag" trip to the store, and on our way out, she threw up. Then in the care on the way home, she had diarrhea So we're all cleaned up, car's febreezed, and she's had a bath. She's 16 weeks and 3 lbs, but I rubbed some Karo on her gums just to be safe, and we've been giving her water. I'm not sure if this is from the car ride, being bounced around in her bag, her being cold or scared, OR, if it's from the plastic toy I found that someone chewed a chunk off of. My hubby said not to worry, we'll just watch them to make sure they both eat and poo, and the plastic should pass. Emma's eaten parts of toys before and they've come out, so I'm trying not to freak out too much. I posted in the health and diet section on how to prepare the chicken and rice for dinner-is there anything else I should do for a younger puppy with vomiting/diarrhea? Thanks!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | It could definatley be a combination of the stress of the trip and the car ride. I have one that gets diahrrea whenever she is stressed. I would watch to make sure she is pooping ok since you did find a toy with a piece missing. If she isn't better by morning and hasn't pooped I would get her to the vet, or if she gets worse. Hope she gets well quick.

Thank you so much, Patti for your kind words and advice. I'll keep you updated. Just a bit ago, she was begging for some of my husband's popcorn, so I think she's getting better

I'm glad she seems to be feeling better. I agree though if she hasn't pooped by morning to contact the vet. I'm not sure if you saw my post, but our 8 month old was vomiting and had diarrhea on and off for a few days, she would seem to get better and then worse. We took her to the vet twice in two days, they did x-rays, bloodwork, etc.. and she had a blockage that she couldn't pass. It was caused from pieces of various toys, string, fuzz, hair, etc.. lodging in her. They had to give her injections, barium, enema, etcc. and she's doing better now, but keep in mind with their size it doesn't take much to cause problems!

I did see your post, and I took it to heart! She GOBBLED up the chicken and rice...and she DID poop earlier although it was diarrhea-but she seems mostly back to normal. I added Karo to their water just to see if she'd drink it since it was sweet, but she's more interested in her Nylabone right now I'll keep an eye on her, and definitely if she doesn't poop by her normal time in the morning, I'll take her to the vet. Thanks!

She was all better the next day-eating and pooing as normal. Thanks again for your help!
