| My poor baby! So as soon as I got home from work at 8pm tonight, my mother came to me in tears. I guess she wasn't looking and she had accidentally stepped on Killer's right paw. He was limping but still very eager to see me and to play. He hadn't really cried until my boyfriend came over later tonight and tried inspecting his paw. He concluded that his leg is okay, but as soon as you touch his last finger, he cries. He occasionally hops with his right paw up, but he mostly limps carefully with all paws down. My boyfriend says this occasionally happens to his pomeranian when he hurts his paw but it passes after a couple of days. I'm a little nervous and my mom's a nervous wreck so I think I'm going tomorrow morning to the vet. Do you guys have any suggestions? What was the outcome of your puppy being stepped on?? |

| Poor little guy!! Ok, my little Truffles was hurt twice shortly after we brought her home. The first time, my husband stepped on her little foot/leg with his big @ss steal toed boots!! He felt soooo bad! Poor baby was limping around and I immediately rushed her to the vet...I am over protective Anyway, the doc touched her everywhere and could not even make her whimper. Didn't think xrays were needed and sent us home. She was fine. Soooo I would say if there is a spot that you can touch and make him whimper or cry, you might wanna have him checked. I know...we feel so so terrible, like we "let" something bad happen to them. Let us know how he is doing!

| Sorry your little one got hurt and also sorry for your Mom, because we feel so rotten if we hurt them, even if it is by accident. I think if she is still limping or babying that paw in the morning, it wouldn't hurt to have it checked. I'll say a prayer that he's all healed up by morning! Good luck! Let us know how he's doing!
