| Help with diarrhea : ( Endosorb?? Hi everyone, yesterday Trixie got the ugly D and has been throwing up. I increased her missing link dose (tried the 1 tsp like suggested) only after she's been on the 1/2 and was doing fine. However, now she isn't feeling good She threw up so many times but now its mostly the ugly D. She is however drinking and eating but can't seem to keep it down. She's usually so happy and playful and just sitting here now seeming miserable. I can hear her belly making noises I thought about taking her to the vet and definately will if this gets worse. Thank goodness I have an ER pretty close if I needed to go in the night. Anyways, I was trying to give her a day since I know she didn't get into anything and I'm pretty certain its the missing link that caused this. My question is that I have some Endosorb tablets and wondered if you guys have ever used them?? I was given them for Pia before and then she couldn't take them. The vet said to keep them because they were for the ugly D. and good to have around. Do you guys think I should give her this? On the bottle it has 1/4 tablet for Pia (she's 2lbs) Trixie is my sick one and weighs about 5 but I was still only going to give the 1/4 piece. Any suggestions are appreciated Thanks!!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Maya my pom got sick after a couple of days on the Missing Link, so I stopped it for her. I have meds form previous bouts of diahrrea and use it when one of them gets it now.

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Recently after Lulu's last puppy shot she had a good bout of D. The vet had said if it lasted longer to bring her in and they would give her a doggy dosage of pepto/immodium d. So I gave her a t-spoon full of pepto myself twice for the day and it stopped it and she was back to normal. Good luck.

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | OOOH I almost forgot. You are supposed to fast them but being as lulu is only two pounds that was not going to work. So I steamed some white rice and mixed that with her food and it also helped in binding up her little belly.
