| The Trials And Tribulations Of Tyson This Is Christine's Fiance And Papa Of Tyson. He Has Recently Been Released From Noah's Pet Hospital For His Apparent Seizure. One Of The Scarriest Moments Of My Life. Upon Evaluation And Bloodwork Samples Everything Was "supposedly" Fine And We Took Him Home And He's Been Real Good. Well, Lately He's Been Having Some Belly Problems. He's Been Throwing Up Foods A Lot. He's A Healthy 9 Lbs But Almost Everyday For The Last Week His Eyes Seem Glazed And He Has Moments Of Him Laying On My Neck, Chest Etc. Which Is Totally Not Like Him. So We Take Him To Petsmart-banfield , Our Normal Vet And They Had Noah's Hospital Fax His Records Over And Thats When Our Vet Freaked Out. The Blood Work Was Far From Normal. His B.u.n Phosphorous Globin Something Is Far From Normal Limits, Which Could Mean All Kinds Of Bad Things Especially With His Heart. I'm Furious With The Pet Hospital For Not Sharing This Info With Us And So Is Our Vet. New Blood Was Drawn And We Should Find Out If Its Better Or Worse. I'm 6'2 225 Lb Man Talking Here And About To Lose It, Mentally That Is. This Little Guy Is My Life. I Called Bank Of America To Dispute My 800$ + Bill From The Pet Hospital For Not Even Giving My Dog A Diagnoses Or Correct Information On His Blood Work. The Bank Lady Credited Back My Money Almost Instantly And She's Having My Vet Write A Letter Of Incompetence Of T2he Pet Hospital. Here's What Tyson's Blood Levels Were And "not Worthy Of Mentioning" To Us. B.u.n Normal. 7-25 Tyson's = 27 Phosphorous 2.9-6.8 9.1 Globuin 2.4-5.2 2.1 Those Were Just A Few Which Are All Indictictive Of Conginitive Muscular Problems/kidnew Failure, Or Lewkemia. Once Again, Apparently Not Worthy Of Mentioning. I'm Signing Out For Now. Christine's A Nurse And Knows More But I Know That Nobody Messes With My Pup. This Is Not Over By A Long Shot. If I Find Out That His Bloodwork Got Even Worse Since Noah's All Hell Is About To Break Lose. |

| Did you get a copy of the lab results? If not get it. This way Christine can read it over and see what's going on. Since she is a nurse I'm sure she will know how to read the results. I'm so sorry you had a irresponsible doctor! I consider that Animal Abuse! They took an oath to protect and heal animals! When you settle down, you may want to consider reporting the doctor and the hospital to the BBB and the American Veterinary Association. Good luck with Tyson, I hope he gets better really soon.

| Got It I Have The Copy Right Here, And My Vet Is Filing A Complaint As Well. We Never Saw His Blood Work Until The Other Day Because According To The Dr. Everything Was Fine. But When The Pet Hospital Faxed Over His Records Our Vet Flipped Out. |

I used it all the time during Jewel illness and I caught some things that the doctor didn't bring up. If you don't need it, it may help someone else reading this post so here it is: http://www.labtestsonline.org/understanding/index.html It explains thing in normal people terms. Very helpful.

| Please keep us updated on his progress. I understand what you two are going through. Our little Jewel was very ill for a long time and it's so hard to watch these little ones not feeling well. You want to help but don't know what to do. They can't tell you what's wrong so we depend on the doc to tell us what to do. It make the stress worse because you can't do anything except reasure them that they will get better. Research the kidney thing (I'm sure you've been all over the web already) so you are armed with questions when you see the doc. Try to get some rest and keep on telling Tyson his a Big Brave Boy!

| Poor little Tyson! I don't blame you for being furious about this! Please keep us updated. [BTW ... congratulations on your self-restraint. Toto's Papa would take somebody out! ]

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Poor things -- the BOTH of you! It's bad enough when your baby is sick and then you have someone do you that way. As if worrying about the illness itself wasn't pain enough. Try to relax and hang in there. It's best for both of you since Tyson will likely be able to sense your stress and that won't do either of you any good. Ozzie and I send good karma your direction ... |
