She has had kennel cough for 4-5 days now, I took her back to the vet this morning, he said her left lung is irritated, he is concerned that it could turn into pnuemonia, he gave her some medicine to help break up the congestion, I am supposed to call him back tomorrow to let him know how she is doing, she just turned 7 weeks today, we have had her for a week now,
Please keep her in your prayers that she will not get pnuemonia, and for a good recovery, Thank you, Alicia

Alicia I am so sorry your baby has kennel cough. I hope the meds
work and clear up that lung. Good luck. Keep us posted and prayer's

Prayers for your little one to be well real soon. You said your puppy was six weeks of age when you got her from the breeder? IMO it would be a good idea to let the breeder know that she has this, as I would be concerned about the others that the breeder has. Please keep us updated and let us know how things are going, sounds like you have a good vet there. Really hope the meds help and she bounces back real quick. Prayers for you too as I know how difficult it is when one has a ill baby.

Just a thought... When my skin babies are congested, they take nice hot showers and breathe in the steam. Maybe run your shower and let your bathroom fill up with steam, then sit with her on the floor for a little bit to help break that congestion up, too?

I think Madison is slowly getting better, my vet gave her liquid prednisone to help break up the congestion,and she is still coughing, but the coughs seem to be not as bad, she goes back to the vet Friday , so hopefully she will get a good report, thank you all for keeping her in your prayers, this is a super nice group of people, thanks Alicia
