Lorriane,
I am going to implement that into his daily exercises. I do lay him on his back and do the left, right, left, right. It doesn't seem to do any good. He likes to cross his legs alot when he is laying down also. I am forever uncrossing them. But one good thing he is rolling on his own now. Which is good. I just hope with all the improvements that this means something good in the long run.
I did get one hint from here on this site though. I was reading how one of the pups(can't recall which one) was slipping or falling when they walked and one of the YTer's suggested trimming the hair on the feet. Well where Babybear wasn't doing any walking I have been growing his hair out. Hair on his paws was very long. I took a afternoon and trimmed him up including the paws and then he started doing all these new things. I am hoping that is has helped. Well I know it hasn't hurt. He gave me hell the whole time I was cutting the hair though. He kept making me think he would bite me. I knew better. Big tough guy.
I will keep Sedrick updated on Babybear's progress so they can make a date to go cruising yorkie chicks. I am sure Babybear will love that.
Have a great night and give Sedrick and Doogan a gentle belly rub from us. I know they are boys so I think Sedrick might think it is weird if Babybear sent him a kiss.lol So belly rub it is.

I had written that I wanted to thank all over you for all your kind words and encouragements. It is a long road, but we will get there. He did do some new things today I would like to tell you about. I was laying on the floor with Babybear this afternoon after work. And I figure we would try some new things. So I stood him and made sure his legs were positioned right. I slowly but gently let go of him and he stood there for a good minute. I saw him starting to fall and I put my hands back on him. He then laid down. I was clapping and telling him he was a good boy and giving him kisses and he was giving them back. Then about 15 minutes later I stood him again and I didn't let go this time. Well my son walked through the door and thank god I as holding Babybear he went crazy wanting to know who was coming in the door so he tried walking forward and he gets jerky when he walks and he ended up walking right over my shoulder with his front paws and his back paws were on the floor in front of me. He still crosses his legs when he tries to walk. Does anyone have any idea's how to correct this?? I was so proud of him today. He makes me such a proud momma.
It sounds to me like things are starting to happen - good things! Give him a hug and a kiss from us. Keep up the good work. He's so lucky to have you for a mom. Of course, you're lucky to have him, too.

Your story is so heartbreaking yet so heartwarming.
Val your some mommy and he is a lucky boy to have you.
With both of you having such determination I am sure he will

will be answered.
Hugs to Baby Bear from both Buddy and I.

Thank you for all the encouraging posts and prayers. Babybear will walk one day if not oh well he is still going to be my little baby. He still gives the big fur kids hell all the time. I just sit there in amazement that they don't try to attack him. They both run from him and one is almost 90 pounds the other is 70 pounds. They run little scaredy cats..lol We will keep up the hard work and keep you all updated. I can't wait for the day that I can post he is walking that would be great. When that day happends I will make sure to record it and post it somehow.
Thank you again and Babybear says thank you all for being so kind and thinking of him and he just loves all that kisses he is getting from his YT family.
