| Throwing up Penny threw up her lunch today about 3 hours after she ate it. This was about 4:30. Her dinner time came an hour later. I fed her a bland canned food that we had brought home for Riley in hopes it would not upset her stomach. She just threw it all up, too. 3 hours later, again. Any suggestions? What could I give her to calm her stomach? She's a bit extra cuddly today so I know she isn't feeling the best. |

| When my little one gets the upset tummy my vet usually recommends giving her boiled rice with just a little bit of ground beef. Usually stays down and does not run out the other end. If she is not feeling better by the third day, I would consider taking her to the vet for a check up. They will probably run bloodwork to get for stuff and can possibly give her something to settle her tummy. Hope she feels better soon. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I would try the rice with boiled chicken or hamburger and call the vet tomorrow if she;s not better. I hope she feels better soon.

| Thanks for the info. If she isn't better by tomorrow I will definitely call the vet as she is scheduled for surgery on Thursday to remove a growth and send it off for biopsy. |

| Awww, poor Penny I hope that she feels better today. Is it possible that she ate anything that she shoulnd't have, that could be blocking her up?

| No, she stays next to me all day. Took her in this morning to the vet. We are going to be conservative for now, limited water and food intake, and see how things go. Unfortunately, now her surgery is postponed a week. |

| I had a yorkie who was plagued with health problems including a bad stomach. A breeder told me stomach problems are common with the breed. He died at age 5yrs after falling. I had to use special food his entire life. |
