I think from being with everyone around the holidays and all the pets we had here my poor little guy got too stressed out. I took him to the vet on the 29th because he was having some skin issues and an upset tummy and stool issues. He gave me some medication for him, called Metrizindola, (sp?)
and he was taking 1/4 of a tablet and had been on it for 3 days. It cleared his stool issues right up and his skin seemed to be getting better be he seemed sooo thirsty and was drinking more water than I've ever seen in my life. Last night I woke up to hear him gagging besides me and he was puking on the bed. About 1/3 cup of yellow bile...I stayed up with him for the rest of the night to make sure he was ok and he seemed all right. I called the vet as soon as they were open and they said to take him off the meds that, that was probably why he puked and why he hasn't been feeling well. Because he's a smaller dog, even the smaller dosage probably upsets his tummy. They have him on strict bed rest today with lots of TLC so I cancelled the event I was supposed to attend this afternoon and am going to hang out with my little guy instead. I sure hope he feels better soon, it kills me when he feels bad and I can't do anything to make it better

I sure hope little Jaden is all better really soon. It sucks when they are sick and can't tell you what it wrong!

It's always so stressfull when our little ones are not feeling well.

I'm so sorry Jaden isn't feeling well. That's crazy because I posted today also about Teddy, he also wasn't feeling well last night and today but he is better. I gave him some pepto bismal and that took away his stomach ache and puking but since Jaden was on medication I'm not sure what you should give him. Just make sure he doesn't dehydrate by giving him pedialyte and rub his belly. I hope he feels better ..poor Jaden

Jaden is feeling much better today

I took him to the vet yesterday after he vomitted again and they gave him a shot to settle his tummy. He thinks that smaller meals through out the day will be better for him instead of free feeding him, at least for these next few weeks. So Jaden will be eating the same amount (1/2 cup a day) just portioned out differently, about 2 tablespoons at a time, about 5 time a day. I kind of have to juggle my schedule around to do this but if it'll make him feel better than I can do it!

We did the new schedule today and so far no tummy problems at all! Yah!

He was playing this morning and even went up to Jewelinas pen to sniff her and then he was like...oh...it's you

....LOL

Oh I just saw this, I'm so glad he is feeling better. I just hate it when the little ones are ill
