| Sassy is darling. Very cute little girl. How old is she and how much does she weigh? She kind of looks like my little Willow. I think pet insurance is a great idea and I am going to be researching it myself here in the next few days. We had a very horrible accident here in the home over Christmas where a little boy came into our home and picked Willow up after many times of me telling him not to . . . and dropped her. She suffered a broken leg and has been at the University of Minnesota having reparative surgery where they are putting in a plate and pins. It has turned out to be a very costly accident and insurance is definitely something every one of us yorkie owners should have. Let's keep in touch and I will let you know what I find out. Best of luck to you and Sassy. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have VPI insurance and have been happy with it. Get it sooner than later as any conditions they received treatment for prior to their coverage will be excluded. CAli had hypoglycemia just after I got her and they wouldn't cover any expenses for any future expenses related to that and CAli had 2 more expensive visits for it. They also won't cover any charges for illnesses that are genetic/hereditary. All in all they reimbursed me close to 1200.00 on 6,000.oo in expenses. A lot more than I had paid in premiums. Also for injuries they cover a lot of the expenses. I would definatley get it.

| I would recommend you shop them all. I had gotten it about 11 years ago for my 2 yorkies, but then it was not competitive. Everytime I sent in a claim,, they did not pay so I cancelled it. I have heard others say it is very good, but definitely do your homework. |

| I have VPI too. During the course of Jewels illness they reimbursed me about 80% of our expenses including: MRI, Spinal Tap, monthly lab tests, x-rays, accupuncture, emergency care, etc. They are much easier to deal with compared to our human medical insurance!
