Default Stanley is sick...

. I noticed something was wrong yday when he refused to eat his meals. Then at night...he got really watery diarrhea. In the middle of the night, he threw up. This morning, he was so lethargic, which he is never because in the morning he is the most happy hyper boy in the world. He normally wake sup at 9 and didn't even wake up this morning until 10:30. When I took him downstairs he pooped out blood..and went back on the couch and slept. I'm taking him to the vet now. Please pray for him.

Get him to a vet immediately ! Sounds like it could be Parvo....do not wait... Parvo kills within 50 hours or so....

Glad you are taking him to the vet now. Know while you are gone, lots of YT prayers will be going up for your little Stanley. Hope they have him good as new so he can enjoy Christmas morning with his family. Please let us know how he is doing when you can.

hey guys...just got back from the vet. My initial thought was Parvo also since my first dog died from it. They tested him and it came back negative but there could still be a chance he has Parvo. He cried when the vet squeezed his stomach. He will be in there for a few days...on an IV and they are going to take xrays of his stomach. He also has a fever of 104.5. I'm so sad right now and I've been crying ever since I was at the vet's. What kills me is there won't be someone there to watch over him 24 hours in the day. There is a 24 hour facility and I can't afford it so I'm going to keep him at the vet's. Hopefully he will just sleep while they aren't there. I miss him already . I just realized he won't be here for X-mas...my first X-mas w/ him and he won't even be here

Oh, let's pray it isn't Parvo, and if it is, that you got him to the vet quickly enough. Hang in there, we're all praying for you and Stanley.

I hope Stanley will be fine! I know you are missing and worried, but you've done the best thing getting him to the vet where he can receive good care for his problem. I'll be thinking of you both!!!

Hi everyone! Vet called me bright & Early this morning to tell me that Stanley is doing extremely well. His tail is wagging and his temperature has gone down. He is still not eating though but they will hand feed him today. He should be home by tomorrow. Thank you so much for everyones prayers, you don't know how much I appreciate it.
