I'm sick crying.

My son's little weiner dog Barkley just ruptured his back ...BAD ...He's the best little dog .....They don't know how it happened and the vets are saying he may not make it. I'm sick over this - my son & his wife consider their dogs their children and so do I.....they're just falling apart......

He lost his first dog Mikey 2 years ago to Cushings disease at only 6 years old .....

it took him a long time to get over that loss.....& now his other baby is being rushed to the vet with a serious injury

I can't believe this is happening .. They never let him jump off anything...the vets said it may be degenerative and if it is - there is no hope.

I'm waiting on more calls but would love you guys to say a little prayer for Barkley - he's in pain and it's not looking good .... my heart hurts so bad right now...I don't know what to do for them but cry....

my little grandpuppy needs some big prayers right now....

Oh I am so sorry! I have read your posts abut your Sons weiner dogs. I will keep him in my prayers and keep us update about him

Oh my, I can't stand the thought of him being in pain.

Thank you - you don't know how much your prayers mean

I'm trying to think positive - they noticed him moving slow yesterday and took him to the vet ...found nothing wrong and sent them home - THEN - in the middle of the night, he couldn't move his neck & they rushed him to the all night ER......who said he would need surgery and referred them to ANOTHER hospital where they are now.

The hospital surgery schedule was booked solid ...but they just bumped him to the #1 spot .... making this more scary than it already is -

he's being operated on right now

I HAVE to think postitive that he'll come thru this....but I'm so scared for them..

I feel physically sick over this..

Janet I'm with you - I can't stand the thought of the pain....he's the best little guy - a total lover.

Villette, I am so sorry to be reading this post this morning. My heart goes
out to you and your son. Poor little guy. I pray his surgery goes well and he can recooperate from it.
I had a female shepard who was hit by a car and the vet sent her home after a week. Missy still could not walk and we took her back. Then they tell me her back was broken. It breaks my heart to think she was in pain for so long and no one knew how bad it was. Her's was not a happy ending but YT prayer's are very strong as you know. I am praying for a Christmas miracle for your little grand pup.

My heart just breaks for your family. I will be praying for his recovery. My friend just had a very similar experience with her little weiner dog. They couldn't afford to have the surgery but he has improved on his own. He is home now and doing better. So there is hope that Barkley will recover. Especially with good medical care.

THANK YOU FOR THIS !!! I'm trying so hard to sound brave for my son. Man we love our dogs so much ....this is a double whammy - my son is hurting and his dog is too .....I feel so helpless.

but I'm going to think positive he'll pull thru this.... and Thank you for the prayers......You guys are the BEST.
