| I think Sadie at a Milk Dud OK, guys. I had a "movie box" of milk duds in my purse & a few of them spilled out. I took the box out but forgot to fish out the others. I found Sadie digging in my purse a few minutes ago, & I think she found one & ate one. Do you think she'll be ok? She would have only gotten one & they are more caramel than chocolate, but they still ARE chocolate. Should I call the vet or just chill out & not freak out over one piece. I'm not 100% sure she got it, but think so.

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | From what we have been told the chocolate in candies are not harmful in small amounts....it is the bakers and dark chocolates that are serious. But it might upset her tummy a little.

| I wouldn't worry yet. There is such a small amount of chocolate on Milk Duds. Just keep on eye on her.

My furkids Donating Member | OOOOOOO! Sadie had a little treat! I wouldn't worry...I'm not saying it's ok she eats chocolate and, I wouldn't give her any intentionally but, it's the bakers chocolate that is REALLY bad for them.

I bet she'll be just fine - it's dark chocolate that you really need to worry about and that probably isn't anything to worry about - but I bet she was chewing a LONG TIME on that caramel -

| I am sure she will be okay. She probably just wanted something sweet today. Plus who can pass up milk duds? BTW, I guess her sweet tooth started with the powder sugar and funnel cake. |

hehehe...Yup...is it ok if I blame you & Shana? She was fine last night. Breath smelled like caramel, kept smacking, so I think it was in her teeth & she kept burping. That part was really weird. I don't know what caused that part. But she was happy!

Well, a least her breath smelled good unlike Rocky whom has been getting his teeth brushed more often lately.
