Default Poor baby

Me and my husband were playing with our baby and may have gotten a little rough with him and now i think he has some bruised ribs. can anyone help me on what to do. We took him to the Vet and they gave us some pain meds, but i didn't know if there was something else we need to do for him.
Thanks,
Casey's mommy

wow.....can I ask how ??? That had to be pretty rough -

I'd try to be really careful especially with a puppy - their bones are pretty fragil and in all honesty - a broken rib could possibly puncture a lung - I've had broken ribs and that is SUPER Painful.....

I hope he feels better poor baby

Be careful with puppies , they are fragile. Also, be careful when you let him play with other dogs especially the big ones. Although some big dogs are gentle, not all of them are and even if they are just playing, the big size might hurt them if they accidentaly stepped on their abdomen or something.

I just cannot, for the life of me, understand how ANYONE could be so rough with a pup as to bruise their ribs!

What kind of games are you playing with this poor pup? Was he not whimpering? Yea you can't really horse around with a yorkie pup who's probably around 2-3lbs if even that. I can't imagine or don't want to imagine WHAT you were doing to get his ribs bruised

I should have chosen my words a little better. Casey is 6 years old and a very active little boy and weighs 5.5lbs. I don't want anyone to think that i would mistreat him. He means the world to me. He is doing better now. I could never hurt him. I know no one knows me but that's fine. I just wanted to clear that up. I feel really bad as it is, and don't need anyone else to make me feel worse.

HI Just read your thread and wanted to say Welcome to YT I am so happy casey is doing much better. I for one can see this happening . My Kodi Loves his Play balls and when he is in the (ball zone ) I have to be really careful what way I throw them. he has jumped to get one befor a almost flipped. Then fell on his side. Accidents happen. I'm glad he is better.

i know those little ones can get into playing and forget anything else, even their size... i saw my baby running around to get a stuffed toy that i threw for him and doing an almost complete backflip scary...

It doen't take much for these little guys to get hurt... just today my 6 month old baby JUMPED(More like flew) from the back of a chair!!! It's pretty high up and I almost died!!! He was fine but now I'm so worried that he will try it again. I swear all he needed was the cape and shirt with a giant S on it!!!! My heart almost stooped.
I'm sure you are taking very good care of your little baby!!!
