I'm sorry - that must be so scary for you -

there is a Liver Shunt website that has information to read and you could write them for help finding a good vet -

Quote:

OMG I'm praying for your baby. Stay calm, being stressed out won't help him at all. I know it's hard, but he feeds on your emotions.

"Dear Lord, bless this little angel; guide his human to find the best veterinary care availalbe. Please do not take this baby from his family. Father, you are the divine healer. Place your loving hand on this baby and lead his owner to do the best possible for him. We love you, we trust in you and we believe in you. Amen."

I wish I could help you. I am going to check what vets are in your area. My family is from Puerto Rico also but not from Arecibo. You should do a google search. If I find anything I will let you know.

I found a breeder in Puerto Rico - Parkside Yorkies since 1986. I am sure they can help you.

pksdbox@coqui.net

On the diet, add warm water before serving.

Did you ask the breeder if he/she knows a good vet. Also if this problem ever happened in her line?
