I think I'd be calling my vet again. Although none of them have been as small as Bella, all the pets I've ever had spayed/neutered did just great. I did have a 15 year-old rescue that had to have an emergency spay and she got a bladder infection, but I've never had one cry. Do you have an ER vet near? Might be worth a trip. Keep us posted and hope she feels better soon.

Glad to hear she's at least drinking and peeing. Maybe once she gets some good rest, she'll feel better. I'll check back in the morning to see how she did overnight. Remember, she'll feed off your stress, so try to be calm and that may help.

well i'm not sure about you.. but layla wasn't give pain meds... it was a long night... i got up every few hours.. to bring her to pee.. because she couldn't stand up to pee on her own... she eventually stopped crying.. but she had her's bright and early.. and i saw that your had it at 3.. so layla did a lot of her crying i'm sure at the vet's office. but you'll see that over the course of the night she will stop hang in there.. i know your heart is breaking

I would make sure she has something clean and soft to lay on and she is close enough that you can hear her and check on her. They sometimes have trouble regulating their body temp. so put a heating pad on low and make sure she isn't cold. If she is still miserable by tomorrow I think I would call the vet and see if there is a safe pain medicine he could give her.

How is your baby this morning? You know, after I thought about it for a while, I got kindof irritated with your vet. They don't do hysterectomies or tie tubes for women and not give them something for pain. Poor darling, I hope she's feeling better this morning. Hope you got a little sleep last night. Keep us posted.

| Ohhh hunny that is so sad. Just give her a little time. It took mine a couple of days to feel better. She is definately feeling groggy from being put "under". The vet did give me pain meds for mine though and it helped. See if you can get some. Maybe you could have her pee on the pee pads in the house for a couple of days. I know it is hard but try not to worry too too much, Im sure she will be just fine. My prayers are with you and your baby. Keep us posted.
