I know it's very hard for you to see her up one day and down the other, but she just may surprise you yet, so don't give up. I'm amazed at what they've done so far. Prayers for Sammi.

Sammi has a tough road ahead of her, but she has already shown her spunk and spirit. Just like a person who has been thru as much as she has, there will be good days and not so good days. She is trying as hard as she can to get well enough to come home. It must be so hard on her to see you leave every nite. She must miss you terribly. Prayers and big bear hugs to you and Sammi from all of us.

Isn't a usually that they get a little worse before they get even better? That's what my mom used to tell me when I was sick...

The vet gave you some good news though! I'll keep thinking about her. Hugs and kisses from me and Trixie.

Bless your heart, and Sammi's too!

We arent gonna quit praying and thinking of lil Sammi. She will pull through this, I have a gut feeling. In the meantime make sure you are getting plenty of rest. I'm hoping for the best.

Poor Sammie. I hope she get better really soon and builds up strength. I know this has got to be a really emotional draining time for you. If there's anything I can do, let me know okay?

Thank you all again...

No word from the dr today...I am sure I will hear from them this afternoon...

I found a message board about Dogs with Liver disease...All the members seem to be going through or have gone through what I am now with Sammi...Same thing there...NEVER GIVE UP...Once dog was given one week to live and a year later with proper food/supplements he is still going...

So we will go strong and fight until we cannot anymore...

Fran, I'm so sorry you have to endure all this.Take care of yourself too. I will keep you both in my prayers.
I might have missed it, but does she have liver shunt? Isn't there a surgery that could help her?
