Cindy, go ahead and call. I mean, not much can happen in 15 minutes. Go ahead and call. I'm sure they will understand that you are anxious.

no not a clue.... I rarely take them outside.... she used to have a habit of eating poop and I would have to wash her mouth out and take it out of her mouth... but other than that no.... I don't know..... which is worse because I have no idea how to prevent it from happening again.

Cindy you have to be strong for Madda, I know a different breed of dog that had it when she was a puppy and she overcame it and is about 12 yrs.old . So there is hope. I know what your feeling because I have been crying and very depressed over Gucci, we are dealing with liver shunt and her results will be in on Friday or Monday. The dr. said that she is hoping that it is so they can do the operation and she will resume a normal life. If its not they have to do exploratory surguery. I am trying to think positive, but it is very hard, so I do know what your feeling. Please be strong and I will keep Madda and you in my prayers also. It is a deviasting feeling and you are not certain of the unknown...Keep us posted...

God Bless
Gina

OMG...hang in there...WE'RE ALL PRAYING !!!! PLEASE don't 2nd guess yourself - I think the other vet should have tested - that's THEIR JOB to see symptoms and act accordingly.....

SENDING YOU MORE HUGS - Try to think positive and remember - she's in the best place she can be right now being treated .....All we can do is pray and hope ....the next few days are crucial but we're all here for you.

Cindy, you are doing all you can do. Hang in there. They are taking good care of Madda. Poor little bitty baby The website I posted earlier said that all you can do is treat the symptoms and prevent them from getting dehydrated. Since she is at the vet and has IVs in her and they are monitoring her, she has a good chance. I'm continuing to pray for her. When will you be able to call back?
