| OH NO.. Madda is sick and not eating! Since yesterday morning she has been a bit sluggish and not acting like herself. She was throwing up and continues to throw up, I gave her some pepto yesterday afternoon around 5pm and this morning around 6am she was throwing up (water mostly, has not wanted to eat anything)and I got up boiled her some chicken and shredded it ,does not want that... tried to give her cottage cheese, no go and continued to nutrical her. I sent my mom to go get her some pedialyte so she does not get dehydrated. Im going to call the vets as soon as they open but in case they cannot see her right away any advice? Thanks I am so worried.... |

| You could try some gerber meat sticks buti doubt if she will eat that if she wont eat the chicken. I would just keep giving her pedialyte and nutrical and get her to the vet.

| How old is she? Give her pedialyte through a suringe if she won't take it voluntarily. Maybe it's her tummy. Put some plain yogurt in a syringe it give it to her. There has to be more than 1 vet in your town. Get on www.whitepages.com and call ALL the vets. I am sure SOMEONE can see her today. Otherwise, you'll need to take her to the emergency vet. Better safe than sorry. |

If you can't get her into a regular vet today, you really should take her to an emergency vet, especially since she hasn't eaten since yesterday. | |

| She has some type of viral infection.... the vet wanted to keep her overnight or at least til 5pm to watch her but I chose not too, so she sent me with a antibiotic, a anti-nauseaus medicine and a ear flush.....goodness.... we waited for over 1 hour and 1/2...... she also gave her 2 shots....so hopefully all will be well with Madda. I cannot give her any food or water for 24 hours. So I hope she gets better soon, too bad I cannot find out what exactly she has! |
