Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | vaccines :( morgan had her final puppy distemper last night. she was fine all night, not acting weird. however this morning she is so listless. she's not running her usual laps around the room. she's just sitting/laying there. not even up to chase the cat around the room. poor puppy. i'm sure it cause of the vaccine. i'm not too worried, and i'll have my sister check on her throughout the day while i'm at work. i just feel bad for her. she looks so sad. She did eat all her breakfast this morning and hasn't thrown up or had diarrhea which is good. Hopefully by lunchtime she'll be feeling better.

| Schatzi had a distemper shot yesterday, too (in the morning), and she slept most of the day. She wasn't her usual self either, and the injection site was so sore, she'd yelp if I touched it by accident. She went to bed early, and this morning she is finally back to herself, she's a mad ball of energy, running all over the house and eating up all of her food- I'd probably give it 24 hours for your pup to get back to normal, hope she feels better real soon!

| shots ZsaZsa was miserable after each of her puppy shots, the vet said she could have 1/4 of a baby asprin. It seemed to help, I gave it to her before her appointment after the first set and she did a little better. Hope Morgan feels better soon. Carol

| Jewels was always a little lethargic after her vaccines but was back to normal the next day. I would give it a little more time.

| If she got the shot last night I would give her a little more time. I've never given Kona or Bernie asprin or benadryl. So I can't help you there. Sorry!

| Yay! That's good news. I think it's just a typical reaction...just like with humans. |

My vet allows 1/4 baby asprin for about 2-4 lb, she is 6 1/2 lbs now and takes 1/2 when necessary.
