Tinkerbell has been sick for years with constent skin infection, allgerys, eye infections and on....... the poor little thing is at the dr all the time. i had tests done for allgerys and she is allergic to alot of things! i give her shots now and the skin sores are better. but my real big problem right now is her mouth, it has crusty yellow stuff all over the sides of her muzzle. she is very uncomfortable and i dont know what else I can do for her.. she will run around rubbing her chin on the carpet and shaking it bothers her so bad ! |

| This is an excerpt from www.veteraniansecretsrevealed -- I thought it might help SOOTHE IT TOPICALLY. Calendula ointment is a herbal medication that has been successfully used to relieve the itch. Apply a thin coat twice daily to affected areas. THE SUPPLEMENT CONNECTION. Fatty Acid supplements are very helpful in decreasing the level of inflammation. Omega 3 fatty acids are most important. A great, inexpensive source is ground Flax Seeds; I give 1 tsp per cup of dog food. Cats are unable to metabolize Flax, so I only recommend the liquid supplement for them. Other sources include fish oil, primrose oil and specific veterinary supplements. Also for alot of skin aliaments hold a warm tea bag on the affected area and wipe away any debris -- helps with people too Hope we've helped a little bit |

| I am so sorry you and Tinkerbell are going through this. She sounds miserable. Have you tried any holistic veterinarians? When traditional medicine has done all it can do to help, there are still holistic treatments that many times work. I have been doing a lot of research on vaccinations and they seem at least partly to blame. |

| thank you all very much for your help and prayers.. I will give your ideas a try for sure.. I could write a book on all her problems and tests she has had.. I love her so so much I will do anything !!!! I had her to the DR on monday last week for her legs, she has trouble walking , and also her tummy is always hard and swollen so I had the Dr. x ray her tummy too. and of course more bad news, she has an enlarged heart and her liver is twice its normal size.. tinkerbell is 11 years old so I am sure some of her trouble is due to age, but I think alot of the other trouble could be the breeder I got her from. |
