| Please keep Magic in your thoughts/prayers.... We just returned from an Emergeny Vet visit with Magic. She was vomitting and had bloody diarrhea. They gave her fluids until the skin on her back and several shots and sent her home with medicines. She seems to act like she feels a little better right this minute, but please keep her in your thoughts/prayers that she continues to get better and not worse!! Thanks!!

| Thank you everyone......Magic is showing some improvement - she was able to keep some water down and is wanting to play with her ball.. Villette, The vet said she has a bacteria infection in her tummy that developed due to stress....she is producing to much of some type of bacteria due to stress and that type of bacteria can turn toxic...and that is what happened to Magic. We have had company (my son, daughter in law and their 2 dogs) visiting for the last 9 days and so our routine has been off.....and that must be causing Magic more stress than I thought. You are very right.....I am amazed how much we worry about these little pups when they are not well.......I just breaks my heart!!

| Prayers are coming your way by the dozen from Rini's critters and Rini too. Any stress can and often does cause bacterial over-growth in the bowel of these little ones and they go down so quickly. I am glad to read that she is doing some better. Your bad luck has reminded us once again how fragile our babies are and how stress can cause such bad outcomes. I pray that she gets better really soon and that she will start eating and drinking you out of house and home...okay, we say that in WV... |
