| If she is doing fine now, wait and take her to your normal vet in the morning, if you still are worried. As long as she is walking and eatting/drinking I think she will be fine. Poor baby

| Seems like she should be fine, she might be asleep from the big suprise and she probably stressed if she was yelping for 5 minutes. I agree to wait until tomorrow and take her to your normal vet. However if you have a deep gut feeling that something's up, take her to the emergency vet, or maybe just your regular vet.

| The same thing happened to Bella. She cried for a few minutes and wouldn't put any weight on it. But a few minutes after that she was fine, just scared. I took her to the vet because it was during normal business hours, and they said everything was fine. I think I just over reacted because she was crying when it first happened. I think she will be fine if she is putting weight on it like normal, make sure she isn't limping.

| Poor Lexi. You didn't say where she got hurt, as long as she didn't get hit in the head it's probably safe to wait and see how she is later. If she did get her head bumped I would keep a really close eye on her, if she's sleeping too long maybe wake her up and see how she's reacting. I hope she feels better soon.

| body? well, i think she got hit on her torso portion. she was trying to follow my roommate when she was leaving, and my roommate didn't see her and the door (which closes by itself) closed on her body. she seems to be doing okay, but one of her sides seem to cause her to make a little sound every time i touch it. i hope it's not a broken bone. usually she plays with my cat, but yesterday and today she has shied away from it because i think she doesn't want to rough play. |

| The same thing happened to Georgie when I first brought him home, and I felt terrible. He was fine though, I took him to the vet the next day and they check him out. I am sure she is fine but take her to the vet just to confirm.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | POOR BABY !! How is she feeling today ? If she stays lethargic or is still crying - I would def take her in - it's better to be safe than sorry - she may have broken a rib or worse....(of course I HOPE NOT !!!) but you may want to call the vet and let them know what happened and see what they say. sending her get well wishes from the girls.... |
