| TeeJay's poop looks like jello When TeeJay had a bowel movement last night, I was surprised at what I saw. The best way I can describe it is that his poop looked like jello or some type of jelly/gelatin. It was clear and solid, but wobbly looking. I'm sorry that the description is pretty graphic but I'm a bit worried. Has anyone ever experienced this before and if so, what does it mean? Thanks. |

| So sorry for your worries. I have not experienced that, I would call and at least talk with your vet.

How old is he and has he been checked for parasites like coccidia ? I'm no expert on poops (well I am with MY girls lol ) but keep a close eye on him - and IF it continues - I would call your vet - GOOD luck | |

| When we picked up our pup, our breeder told us to keep an eye out for blood or jello like poop. I would call the vet if it continues and get a sample checked. |

| okay I've left a message with the vet's receptionist and I'm just waiting for a call back. The receptionist said it's usually a side effect to medication. TeeJay isnt on any medication except for some supplements that the vet gave him for his luxating patella which only contains natural herbs, no chemicals. Do you think it could be from the supplements? |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | It could be. My Pom has Colitis and that will happen to her if she eats something that doesn't agree with her. I gave her the Missing Link supplement and she got loose jelloy stools. It dodn't bother Cali. Hopefully the vet can give you some meds for her.

| Jaxon had something similar after getting neutered and again getting some teeth pulled - I figured it was from the anesthesia since it never happened any other time. Hope TeeJay is ok.

| No call from the vet yet and it's already been a whole day. TeeJay is doing fine except he hasnt had a bowel movement yet, which is strange because he goes a few times a day. If I dont hear from his vet by lunch time, I will be giving her another call. |
