| What is going on???????? I came home for lunch to feed my babies and I was greeted by lots of soft poop from Tiger everywhere with one puddle that has a bit of blood in it. He seemed his usual self this morning with the exception of not touching his food which has happened in the past so I wasn't too concerned . . .he can be pretty picky sometimes . . . I was running late so did not have time to give him a treat to see if he will even eat it. This lunch, he refused to eat anything again and when I tried to entice him with his favorite food, he looked the other way. He is a little bit "out of battery" sort of condition whereas he is normallly my energizer bunny. What could possibly happen . . . I rushed his stool to the vet and am hoping nothing serious is going on with him. I did take him for our usual walk though as he seemed to want to when I put on his leash so we walked our usual route and he seemed normal with the way he walked and even lifted his leg to pee . . . . quite a few times Has anything like this ever happened to any of your babies????? I am sooo concerned . . . .and very, very worried about my darling Tiger! |

| aww tiger Well not with our yorkie, but with our collie this did happen, the doc said sometimes if something upsets or inflames the belly or bowel, they can pass a bit of blood, he said only worry when its LOTS of blood all the time. She ended up having eaten some doggy choc and turns out she was allergic to it, causing inflamation in her guts and bowels making her pass a bit of blood. Not saying this IS what is happening, just thats the only time what you described happened to us.Good Luck hon

a little blood in the stool is normal when they have been having diarrhea or weird BMs. its because their intestinal tract gets irritated. lots of blood indicates a problem. My suggestion is to wait it out till tomorrow. he may just be having an upset stomach and maybe he'll feel better tomorrow. especially if he was good on his walk | |

| This has happened like twice with Coco. It was usual because of her eating something she shouldn't have and the irritated colon getting a little chaffed therefore resulting in some blood in her runny poo. I've gone through this 2-3 times so now I'm ultra careful about what she is getting into. I was before too but the little monkey would quickly grab whatever was accidentally dropped or she would find something in a quiet corner somewhere. Just make sure he's eating and drinking well. I wasn't too worried because she was playing, eating and drinking like normal.

| He is slightly perky than this morning but still won't eat anything . . I mean not even a small treat! He however is a bit playful with Annika although being a bit weak he ends up lying down with Annika on top of him . I gave him some water through a syringe just so he does not get dehydrated. My hubby says who would want to eat on an upset stomach He has not pooped since lunch time so I hope that is a good sign. Yes I do watch what he eats especially when we are on our walks. Even a bark seems delish to him and I always have to shoved my fingers inside my mouth to take it out . . . Well, I hope to hear from my vet tomorrow so I hope he is just feeling under the weather thanks for all your concerns . . . |
