My first guess would be that there is a blockage. I would get her to the vet ASAP

Dark brown vomit is suggestive of internal bleeding. Let us know what the vet says.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali was just in for not ppoping for 5 days and then started vomiting. They did Xrays and thought there might be a partial blockage so they did surgery and spayed her and did liver and intrstinal biopsies. There was no blockage they don't really know what was wrong. Good luck keep us posted.

okay... so i'm a little relieved... i checked his potty pad... he did have a bowel movement today, i see skid marks. but no poop. he has the poop eating issue but i usually catch him right after he poops so he doesn't really injest too much. but i guess i missed his bowel movement today. i have a feeling he ate all of his poop, and then threw it up. hence the brown, foul smelling vomit. i just hand fed him some kibbles and rehydrated dog food and he ate as normal. i'm keeping a close eye on him tonight and taking him into the vet tomorrow morning for a once over. without going into details... i think i'm going to be in the market for a new vet/pet hospital soon.

Sounds just like what my pup was doing. My guy wound up having Coccidia. Exact same symptoms. Vomit...even after only taking a drink. Diarrhea that had no substance. Doc did a fecal and said no doubt it was coccidia. IV of fluids and a sulfa antibiotic and I am anxiuosly awaiting a phone call this a.m. (10:00 EST). I say take the dog to the vet.
