| Blood in stools.... My sister was in somewhat of a panic. Her somewhat small dog started showing what she thought was blood clots in his stools - bright red - etc. She saw this for two or three days and was ready to take him to the vet when she noticed her dog and her grandson outside in the backyard eating tomatoes. And, in fact, she discovered that over the past few days, they had eaten a lot of tomatoes.. The end result is that her dog had no bleeding problem whatsoever - he was juts eating too many tomatoes and to some extent - they were just passing through him without being completely digested. He (the dog) still loves tomatoes...... End of story!!!! Carol Jean |

I had tomatoes last year and only had trouble with BIRDS....not yorkies and found a solution that really worked. This is my Monkey Crow - you should have seen Chanel and Cheri when I did this....(I have 2 Identical monkeys...so they were NOT missing their toy) but they sure wondered why he was outside on a stick 1st shot is Chanel checking on her tomatoes... and my Version of a Scarecrow.... |

| I had tomatoes last year and ended up having to pick them green and let them ripen in the house. Everytime I had a tomatoe that was just about ripe the dogs would get it before I would! I think I had about 5 tomatoes all season and I know that I grew alot more than that! |

| That is great! I love your scarecrow, lol. Did that work? Reason I ask is that we have problems with these gigantic crows here, and last year I set up a scarecrow (traditional looking one in old clothes) and it worked for about two weeks then they realized it wasn't real, and starting stealing my veggies again. But my daughter has plenty of stuffed animals, so I thought if what you did worked it might be a good sacrifice to dig out one that's in storage, lol. Thanks!
