| 2 small "marks" ... About 6 weeks ago I noticed 2 small "marks" around my Rocky's nose.. at first I thouhgt that maybe he scratched himself or someting, but later I realized that it was not a scratch, only his skin but kind of pale.. like a round mark on his skin but the colour of this mark is lighter than the colour of Rocky's skin. What is more I noticed, that he has less hair on those 2 marks.. I hope you know what I mean.. I went to a vet and he told me that it may be some skin genetic desease! So I went to his firts vet, the one who treated Rocky when he was sick when he was little and he said, that it may be some kind of skin infection. The vet gave me some cream and we will see what happens next. Do you know what it can be?? To tell you the truth I am rather stressed about it, I am affraid that it may be something serious Please help! |

I Love Thor Donating Member | I hope this is nothing serious. I'm not sure I know what you are talking about, I wish I could offer more advise. MAybe you could try a second opinion. Did the vet say that it would go away eventually? PLease keep us updated! |

| I wish I could be more specific in this case!! It is hard to explain... he has 2 round marks, like scars or something, lighter than his skin colour. I took him to 2 different vets and one told me that it may be a genetic skin desease and the other one, that it looks like some kind of a skin infection. He also prescribed the cream to put on those marks for about 2 weeks. We have a control visit next week.. I just thought that maybe someone from the Yorkie Talk could help.. |
