| He probably wont have any reaction to it. Chachi has eaten small amounts of chocolate with no affect. I would watch for diahrea or vomiting.

| I agree, a part of a cookie probably doesn't have enough choc in it to do any harm. Tucker ate a whole yodel once and was fine!

| Ok, thanks. I know my bigger dogs have eaten chocolate and been fine, but I am not used to having such a small one, if they were more sensitive to it. Thanks again. |

| Roxi got ahold of, what I thought was a choc chip cookie one day. Turns out it was oatmeal raisin...You should have seen me chasing her around the house to try to nap the cookie. Finally she hid under the bed...and I had to lift it up just to get her out! I looked like superwoman (on crack)!!!! Needless to say I was horribly sore the next day and she was perfectly fine! That was a bad idea in so many ways! Last edited by porkieyorkie; 03-21-2006 at 08:26 PM. |

| Doesn't hurt to be too careful when it comes to the safety of our furbabies! You all were right, our little Benji was just fine. My 11 year old daughter didn't want to go to school yesterday morning because she was worried he might not be here when she got home. You can imagine the joy on her face when I took him with me to pick them up from school and she seen him. |

| My lab ate nearly six dozen chocolate chip cookies while we were sleeping. He reached up on the counter and helped himself to all the cookies that I had baked that evening. They were on a platter near the back corner of the counter - but he found them and ate all but one that he couldn't reach. He proceed to throwup and have diarrhea all over the house before we got up. But he was perfectly fine the next day and forever after that. In fact, he would have eaten another six dozen cookies if he could have had them. What a mess! The dog from hell...............
