| Sniffles?? Kahlua woke up Saturday blowing though his nose several times and each time had liquid spraying. This is still continuing just not as constant. He also is sneezing. I called the vet Saturday to see if there was something I could give him or if I needed to bring him in. He told me it sounded like allergies and to give him 1/2 teaspoon of children's benadryl every 6-8 hours through the weekend and if it does not clear by monday bring him in to check for infection. Well its not gone, but I'm pretty sure its allergies and not a sickness because he has no runny nose (something actually leaking out). At least twice this weekend he has however sounded like a cat coughing a hairball up. ????? Has this ever happened to anyone. I'm trying to avoid a vet visit by all means, but I hate having my baby sick. I decided to give it til Tuesday because I was only able to give him one dose on Saturday. Any home remedies or information on similar experiences??

| let me rephrase that hairball sound b/c he just did it again. You can tell he is trying to blow out his nose and you can hear fluid and congestion in his nose. ???
