| Possible Eye Problem? My girl is three and a half years old. Today, I noticed that she has a line in her eye. It looks like one hair, but I cannot get it out, and it does not move alot. Could this possibly be the start of a cataract? Thanks. Kate

| a catarac is almost a light blue /white haze over the eye. you can see when a dog is looking away from you, its almost like a hazey film. i had two golden retrivers with cataracs and they lived 14 + years with them. supposely thay cannot see as well, but my pups can definitley compinsate with their noses. |

It looks like she has a fine hair stuck to her eye, but it won't come out. I will keep a close eye on her, as it does not appear to be bothering her. She goes in for a shot in two weeks, so hopefully, I can wait until then. Many thanks.

| If it doesn't seem to be bothering her - and she isn't blink-blink-blinking, you probably can wait until you go to the vet. (And, wouldn't it be nice, if it is gone by then?) Carol Jean |

| You are so right Sweetie. It is gone. Took a good look at it outside again today, and it must have been a hair that did not want to budge. Thanks.
