| Chachi has diahrea Chachi has diahrea. The vet didnt give him any med just said to fast him for 48 hours. Chachis is so mad he wants to eat. Now we can give him some .medicated food Prescription ID two teaspoons every three hours so at least he will have something in him. We were really worried about low blood sugar. I hope he is better soon.

| No fun! I stupidly gave Scout and Pippa some roast scraps a couple weeks ago (poor babies had to smell it cooking all day in the crock pot, I thought they would like a treat) and boy did we ever pay for the next two days. I hope Chachi starts feeling better soon!

| Oh, lordy, last week I had 9 critters on meds and special diets for diarrhea. And, they are all different ages so the dosages were like doing calculus. Anyhow, mine would not eat that gawd-awful I/D food either. Almost made me puke just opening the can so I thought they would really like it.. NOT!!!!! Give Chachi rice and maybe boiled chicken breast but only a little. I also give fat free chicken broth instead of plain water sometimes..they drink it better. Then, good ole NutriStat..they do handstands for that, but don't give much, and only if the vet says okay.. |

| When Daisy had it a few weeks ago my vet gave me medicine that would clear it up in 24 hours and she could still eat too. It cleared it up really fast and she felt alot better the next day! It was just a tube of stuff that looked like mud and you mixed it in with her food twice a day.

| Sorry to hear about the diarrhea. Did Chachi eat anything different or injest anything you know of? Man!! Fasting for 48hours? IMHO that's ridiculous. Remember when Baby was vomiting? I didn't fast her that long. Maybe give Nutrical (as you're going to do) and a little rice or cottage cheese. You know what I gave to Baby? A little Pepto, and she stopped vomitting. I only gave her a little because she wouldn't take it!!! She hated it. I just opened my Pet first aid book, and it talks about Diarrhea. I'll post it on a new thread for everyone.
