| ahh I just got home for lunch and i opened my bedroom door and i wasn't thinking. I took my underwear out of the dryer this morning and just left it on my bed. Well layla just got up there and when i found her she had chewed off a little plastic jewel thingy from my underwear and she was chewing on it, so i tried to get it out of her mouth and she swallowed!!!! should I be worried? it's not that big, and she's playing normally. Should I call the vet? Should I wait to see if she changes her behavior?? I'm usually so careful, I don't know why i left that stuff out today

| I too have a chewy yorkie. When he was just a wee thing I had him at the vet for a routine check up. I brought along a stool sample. The vet was glad to tell me although my little Jordy did not have any worm problems he did have "green crayon"syndrom. I guess he was coloring with the kids. If it was a small piece it will probably pass. Good luck!!! |

| Oh! Don't beat yourself up! We all do things that we wish we had not done.. Trust me! My gizmo somehow got a nipple off the top of a baby bottle, chewed it in half and swallowed it!!! I had no idea that he had done this, one night, he was laying around and wouldn't eat or drink. I didn't know what was wrong. So I stayed up with him all night, and early the next morning, he went poop on the pee pad. And sure enough out popped a baby bottle nipple! I couldn't believe it! I was really lucky that he was able to pass it, because it was pretty big. I don't think she will have any problems passing it, if it was real tiny. I would just keep a good eye on her tonight, and tommorow, and I am sure she will be fine. I wouldn't worry unless she stops eating and drinking, or acts like she is in pain.
