| Egg Salad My mom and I were giving Baby little bites of Egg Salad today (eggs and mayo). She threw up two times and there were eggs in the vomit. Was I a bad mommy?

| I feed my dogs eggs all the time and they dont have any kind of reaction. Maybe it was the mayonaise that bothered her stomach.

| Stop vomiting Anyone know how to stop her from vomiting b/c it's probably from eating the mayo?

| Okay...maybe it's not from the mayo. Today I gave her antibiotics b/c the vet thought she was getting sick from Angel (the other dog I had to get rid of). Anyway, it's amoxicillan mixed with something else. Do you think THIS is what's making her sick and not the mayo? I tried giving her the water, sugar, salt remedie, but she really didn't drink much. She's on my lap now and I feel bad. I'm gonna try some nutrical.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | My pom throws up from eggs so it could be. I have decided to feed Cali and maya nothing but their dog food mixed with chicken or hamburger. Cali doesn't seem to like treats and can't tolerate to much people food.

| Antibiotics can make a person or pet nauseous. Last fall, the vet had to take my little dog off antibiotics and a couple of other medicines because they were making her sick to he stomach. And - my dogs always get some egg salad - whenever I make it. It has never bothered them. Also - generally when a dog throws up after eating something, it is not big deal. Mine do it every once in a while. More often than not, it is simply because they "gulped" their food down trying to get more than their fair share. How many times do we see little babies spit up their food...???? Carol Jean |
