| From what I've heard, it's mange mites. One type can affect humans the other is harmless. I don't know which one right off the top of my head. Good luck with your treatment.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | When I was a teenager my sister's friends kid stayed at our house for the weekend and she was all itchy. Her friend told her that Jolene had gotten into fiberglass insulation? (she was 6 years old) well a fe days later we were allitchy and my mom took us to the dr and we had scabies. If I recall there was some medicated lotion we had to use. Good luck!

| Revolution the flea & heartworm topical that I like to refer to as "the miracle"kills sarcoptic mange (which is scabie mites) It replaces your heartworm & flea med plus prevents ear mites, mange & more. Ask your vet about it or buy it at http://www.deadfleaz.com. |

| Be careful because you can catch it also. Although animal scabies can only live on humans about 10 days, it can be a very uncomfortable, itchy 10 days. I had a stray show up once & he looked starved, & losing his hair. I thought his hairloss was maybe from an allergy or poor diet so I tried to take care of him. Me, my daughter, & 1 of my dogs caught it. It was time comsuming & expensive to treat. I feel for you. |

| My girl currently has scabies. She was a rescue and I was told that she had a bad case of the fleas. She had been to the vet and treated for fleas, but her skin was still very flaky, she was itchy, and she had some sore spots. I had her for two weeks before it was time to take her to the vet again. During that time I changed her food and started her on missing link, bathed her with oatmeal, all to no avail. I take her to the vet and he tells me she has scabies. I was not happy, as I have a few other dogs also, plus two children under the age of nine. However, they gave me some medicine that I have to dip her in once a week for four weeks. She had her first treatment on this past Monday and by Thursday, she looked a million times better, did not scratch nearly as much, and was much more active. The vet said that after the second dip she wouldn't be contagious anymore, but until then we needed to wash very good after handling her so as not to catch it ourselves, not to let her sleep with anyone, and not to let her play with other dogs. It can be overcome... just be patient. |

| I don't know anything about it for dogs, but I had it once when I was 6. Another little girl in my class passed it on to about 4 other children that were in the same class as her, myself included and it was a horrible, itchy ordeal.. so just be very careful so that you don't catch it! And I hope your little one is feeling better soon!! |

| yes I have many times & love it. I switched to revolution (i use to use frontline) because it is a all in one type topical. I never have to worry about fleas, heartworms, earmites, mange & the price is unbelievable. Cheap shipping & delivery usually about 10 days. |
