| Throat Gold cough medicine Hi fellow Yorkie lovers: My 16 lb, 13.5 year old Gabriel, Gabey for short, has had a collapsed trachea for several years now. A year and a half ago, the vet wanted to put him on a narcotic cough suppressant, which we tried. Suppressing the dog as well as the cough. Then I decided I didn't want Gabey to be on narcotics so I stopped. His real problem turned out to be his collar, which we changed to a harness and his coughing really improved. Presently, his coughing has been more frequent, at least 6-10 times a day. He's walked twice a day and he's really spunky. Eats Royal Canin dog food especially for Yorkies. So, as others do, I Googled collapsed trachea for dogs and a website came up with a possible solution: Throat Gold. The reviews were more than positive, some saying the all-natural drops had saved their dog. What response have some of you had with this product, as i see collapsed trachea is fairly common? I sent away for two bottles, a four months supply. I'd appreciate hearing from any of you. thank you, Matt |

| I would check with you vet before giving anything like that. Sometimes things like that even if marketed towards dogs can have toxic ingredients. My moms dog had pretty decent CT and was put on hydrocodone pills and did awesome and it never made him tired or anything. Definitely don't walk a dog with CT by using a collar. collars are fine for ID tags but nothing more.

| strong stuff Hydrocodone I used when I was in severe pain, but knocked me out. Dog pills with hydrocodone? I will check with the vet, but the reviews were excellent. Yeah, I know...it could be a hoax. but the company is solid. thanks, Matt |
