| Spaying Hi Everyone, I had my baby Chloë spayed yesterday and 4 baby teeth removed. She is 7 months old and weighs only 1,5 kg. She is not herself at all. It looks like she can't walk (think its extremely painful for her to move around) and if she has to walk somewhere to follow me if I walk out of the room, she jerks and does strange movements and runs (hops) a short distance with her back hunched and back legs almost tucked in. She never wined before. Her wound is not infected but can see its bothering her, luckily she can't really reach it to do any damage to it. She slept the entire day yesterday and today. Is this normal behavior? I did phone the vet but he says the reaction with each dog is different. I just want to make sure from Yorkie moms that her behavior is normal? Any feedback will be much appreciated |

| Welcome to YT, did your vet give you pain meds when she was discharged. Pain meds will keep her pain free and drowsy, less active which is what you want so she can heal. If you didn't get any pain med. I would call the vet ask for some and go today for them. My now passed girls when spayed had pain med. I only had to use them for two days, these pups bounce back fast after surgery.
