| Innumerable tumors I took my 7 year old peanut to the docs yesterday. They did a chest x Ray. It came back with innumerable tumors in his lungs and a enlarged liver. He suggested cemo, but I will not put him through that. He gave him steroids and he said he has about 3-4 weeks to live. We are just devastated. My other Yorkie just died 2 years ago next month with cancer too. Anyone been through this. Is there any hope for my peanut. His breathing is quite bad. Thank you |

| I am very sorry you received this devastating news about Peanut. Knowing when to let our beloved pets go is the hardest part of loving them. Praying for peace and comfort for Peanut and you.

YT 500 Club Member | So very sorry. 7 is way to young. My Yorkie was on chemo for almost 2 years. It really wasn't that bad. Animals don't have the same side affects as humans. Prayers with you

| I am sorry you & your baby are going through this. My Sparky was diagnosed with Lymphoma almost 4 yrs ago & we did the Chemo on him BUT we also contacted a holistic vet who sent us supplements, vitamins & a diet plan for Sparky to help his body through the Chemo & he barley missed a beat. I fully believe this is why he's still with us today as the life expectancy for a dog with Lymphoma is 6 mo to 2 yrs with the majority being at about 12 to 14 mo according to the Oncologist. Just wanted to let you know that you do have other options. |

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | I think that your dogs cancer is pretty far advanced. By all means go to the holistic vet = but I have dealt with cancer in two of my animals over the recent years. I honestly don't think a cure is probable - perhaps that holistic vet can keep him more comfortable.

| There is a person on here that I'm not sure if she wants info shared (on who she is) but she took her little guy to a holistic vet during cancer, a cancer that they can't get rid of in these little guys. He beat it. I hope she sees the post soon! |
