| Knee Fracture :( Hi!! Im new to this Forum. My 4 month old 2 lb baby fell off the bed today it took two seconds and she had slid off and immediately favored her back leg. I took her to the vet and had xrays done. Ortho Surgeon looked at it and she has a avulsion fracture, (Tibia growth plate fracture) they said it was still close to the bone and he thinks she will heal and wants to re xray next week to see if it has moved anymore...but after reading many stories.... I am thinking surgery is my only option. Im so scared and fell like a horrible momma. Shes not in any pain just will not bear weight on her foot. I feel like maybe he should have done the surgery and not wait till next week. But until then its create rest |
