| I was not able to take her to the vet yet. It has been around 6 hours since then and she looks to be and react normal. She ate normally etc, but i am still very worried. Hope she will be ok, and I DO HOPE she did not swallow the seed... |

| I have tangerine trees growing in the back yard, and I have to watch my babies as they will run under the trees and pick the low hanging fruit and then hide and eat the tangerines! I am sure they have gotten more than a seed or two over the last 15 years, and they have not ever had anything worse than loose stools from ingesting those tangerines! They also pick kumquats from that bush, and those have tiny seeds in them.....I honestly do not think you have to worry about one little seed from a tangerine.......now if you were feeding a steady diet of tangerine/orange seeds, you would have to expect an issue.....but I really do not think one little seed is going to do anything at all. Like I said, mine have sneaked and eaten fruit directly from the tree, so I know they have ingested a seed or two and have not suffered any catastrophes yet! |
