Bladder stones My Yorkie had struvite stones removed from his bladder today. He pooped twice, small pieces a couple hours apart. He drank from his bowl twice tonight. He has yet to urinate. He was neutered too. I'm wondering if anyone has experiance with this? How long should it take before he urinates? Thank you

Our female Yorkie had struvite stones removed years ago. We adjusted her diet, started her on a cranberry extract from nutramax pharmaceuticals called crananidin due to a complicated urinary tract infxn afterward. She was on an Antibiotic on/off for roughly 4-6 wks after. It has been 6 years and she hasn't had stones since. I would guess your male should urinate before the end of the day.

end-of-day You should expect your loved one to urinate by end-of-day, if not call the veterinarian as you may need to manually assist or run a urinalysis See: https://www.vetary.com/dog/condition/kidney-stones
